L3 Living Award

On Thursday 21st July L3 Living were honoured to be a co-sponsor of The City Of Liverpool Business Awards hosted by Downtown Liverpool In Business. Paula Whittaker was delighted to present Marcus Magee of The Liverpool Hilton with The Hotel of The Year Award. The event was held in the amazing surroundings of Sefton Park Palm House, catered by our friends at Pickled Walnut Catering and then on to the fabulous, and favourite of Team L3 Living, Alma De Cuba for the after party to celebrate all of the evenings winners!

Team L3 Living & Guests thoroughly enjoyed The Liverpool Tennis Tournament 2011. As an official partner we had many of the players staying with us for the duration of the tournament and have had great feedback. We look forward to seeing them again next year!

At the tournament itself we had the pleasure of chatting to a few of the players, as you can see from the photo above, and the very friendly Greg Rusedski told us that he was enjoying being in Liverpool for the tournament despite the fickle weather!

(Sorry Football Fans but it is!)
What many do not realise is that Liverpool is host to a myriad of other sporting events throughout the year.
After the success of last years event we see the return of The World Netball Series on the 25th – 27th November at The Liverpool Echo Arena. This year sees New Zealand, Australia, England, Jamaica, South Africa, Fiji competing to be the best of the best.
Liverpool’s Cricket Club in Aigburth is also home to Lancashire Cricket Club for several fixtures this season, on the 18th May they take on Yorkshire, 27th June Durham and 1st August Warwickshire.
We also have The ICAP Liverpool International Tennis Tournament from the 17th June at Calderstones Park. Latest news on this event is that none other than Ms Virginia Wade herself will ber making an appearance! Well worth a Pimms!
And last but cartainly not least on the list is the GB leg of The Judo World Cup on the 1st & 2nd October seeing some of the UK’s best battling as the run up to the 2012 Olympics continues.

So for all of you mourning the loss of the football for this season – there is plenty to get excited about in Liverpool – our Sports City!
